About the Course

Good products work well enough, but that’s no longer enough to become great. Great products not only work well, but they also employ some magic to make you feel amazing and totally satisfied at the same time.

This magic is known as User Experience (UX) design, and in this workshop, you will learn how to make use of sensations, emotions, and perceptions to make amazing products that not only work well, but also make you feel amazing.

At the end of this workshop, you will have the fundamentals to start walking your own UX design journey, and who knows? With this course, among all the good products in this world, yours may just stand out as one of the greats!

About the Lecturer

Bimlesh Wadhwa

Department of Computer Science, School of Computing, NUS

Dr. WADHWA Bimlesh is an Associate Professor and Assistant Dean (Student life) at the School of Computing at NUS. She teaches and researches in the areas of User Interface (UI) and User Experience  (UX) Design, Information Visualization, and Software Engineering. She uses active learning and project-based learning in the courses she teaches. Her education research interests include figuring out how all this technology can change the way we teach and learn. One of her current funded projects is about exploring instructional approaches to develop students' ethical mindset for a better understanding of the ethical and social implications of technology.  She holds an M.Tech. in Software Engineering and a Ph.D. in Computer Science.
